Acid Retro Tribe - Take 3 - Acid Techno Hardware Live Performance - Futureretro 777 into Korg EMX

Here is a nice acid jam I cooked up using a Korg EMX (Electribe) and a Futureretro 777 pattern synth (it's a Roaland TB 303 clone on steroids). I have the 777 going into the audio in on the EMX (synth channel 1), and this allows me to use the cool time based delays and other sound sculpting stuff the Kord offers (filters, lfo panning, etc). The Korg controls the 777 via a midi cable. The 777 is in bank mode, with 4 patterns selected.

I've been a fan of acid house, or acid techno since I first heard it. It's why I own these two desktop music devices. I used to own the Electribe EA-1, but that just had 2 limited voices, the EMX has 5 voices with so many possibilities for each voice, it was a nice upgrade. The 777 I got on Ebay about 10 years back, all analog 303 clone - count me in!
