Episode 16 Summary:

Before dawn breaks, the young woman and the tiger cub awaken from a haunting nightmare. A hasty breakfast of roasted fox meat is just enough to fuel the day ahead. But as they step out of the cave, the cub is suddenly entranced by a strange creature and bolts into the darkness.

The woman rushes after it, navigating the slick stone passages of the cave—until one misstep sends her plummeting into a yawning chasm. The sound of water splashing against her body echoes through the freezing void. Below lies only a shallow stream… and a silence so absolute it feels alive.

Wading through the icy water, they grope their way forward—until a massive shadow emerges. A hairless, ape-like monster with milky, sightless eyes, shaped by centuries in the lightless depths. In place of vision, it wields terrifyingly sharp hearing and smell, able to hunt prey from a single breath.

Now, every drop of water, every heartbeat could be a death sentence. Can the young woman and the tiger cub find a way out… or will this be where their survival journey ends?
