SUN GTIL 1000/2000 6$ Wireless IoT - Blynk - ESP32 + RS232 to TTL

Описание к видео SUN GTIL 1000/2000 6$ Wireless IoT - Blynk - ESP32 + RS232 to TTL

Couple weeks ago I’ve just aware that this Blue Sun Inverter GTIL is probably the OEM version as the original one should be “LumenTree” according to the recent info from Christian of Der Kanal, thanks for the info. At least this blue one is not a fake one at the end.

Since my Sun inverter has been laying around for quite a while, so I decided to make this video to share on how to make a simple-easy “weekend” cheapo 6$ IoT project to wirelessly monitor this inverter. You can also easily modify the sketch I provided here to publish the result to MQTT if u want to.

Despite of this Chinese Modbus document, at least there are few of main parameters that we can read here. I have tried to get some of them translated using “so called” camera translator apps but it’s just all rubbish, I ended-up with nothing. You can probably do something more if u understand Chinese.

Re minor discrepancies on power and energy reading compared to the one on inverter’s LCD, once u experienced as I had, then don’t ask me why..

Refer link below to download the Sketch, Libraries, Schematic and the Blynk Project QR code. I also enclosed the Modbus Protocol for some of you that may having passion to learn Chinese .. 🤣 While of course I’m not.
