Housing Minister Steve Reed has defended Keir Starmer's leadership, despite a new poll revealing more than half of Labour members do not want him to fight the next election.

Reed said the prime minister will "absolutely" lead Labour into the next general election, saying he is "very proud of the job" he is doing.

He pointed to various things he says Labour have achieved so far, including rapidly rising wages - but admits it "takes time" for people to really feel the difference.
