HOW to DYE YARN with KOOL AID - Easy DIY Tutorial by Naztazia

You can learn how to Dye Yarn with Kool Aid in this DIY tutorial video. Hi I'm Donna Wolfe from Naztazia. I'll show you several tips and tricks to hand paint and dye yarn with Kool Aid. You can make your own custom colors of yarn. This is a great summer DIY project, especially when you have young children or even older kids looking for a fun project to do with yarn. This is an easy, beginner tutorial.

I'll show you the secrets of getting good vibrant colors of yarn, using Kool Aid, food coloring, or even Easter egg dyes. 100% wool yarn is strongly suggested, but any animal fibers will work (like mohair, alpaca, silk, etc.) Kool-Aid comes in so many beautiful colors of the rainbow - red, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple. Plus you can combine a few colors to get new colors.
