We kick off the day with everyone ready for an adventure! Kirsty (Mum), Chris (Dad), Holly, Ben, and Teaser the dog are all set for a fun-filled day in Scarborough. Watch as we load up the car and make the short drive to this picturesque seaside town.

Our first stop is The Mere, a peaceful and scenic lake located on the edge of Scarborough. This beautiful spot is perfect for a morning stroll, and Teaser certainly enjoys stretching his legs here. Next, we make our way to one of Scarborough’s most unique attractions—the cliffside tram! This historic funicular railway has been transporting visitors up and down the steep cliffs of Scarborough for over a century. The kids absolutely love the ride, and it’s a great way to experience a bit of history while taking in the breathtaking scenery.

After working up an appetite, it’s time for lunch, and where better to go than The Tunny Club? Known for serving some of the best fish and chips in Scarborough, this spot does not disappoint. Watch as we dig into our delicious meals, with perfectly crispy batter and fluffy chips that are an absolute treat. Kirsty and Chris reminisce about their childhood trips to Scarborough and the memories of fish and chips by the sea, while Holly and Ben give their verdict on the meal (spoiler: it’s a big thumbs up!).

No trip to Scarborough is complete without a visit to The Harbour Bar, a beloved local institution known for its retro vibe and delicious ice cream.
