HOT Day at Dog Daycare All the Pups Get to Swim in the Pool and Dam

Wow! What a week here at Doggy Days and Farm Stays 🐾. We had some very hot weather with the temperatures going into the low 40s (Degrees Celsius that is) despite my efforts at converting our temperature to Fahrenheit, which I have now googled, and it converts to 105.8 degrees Fahrenheit, it was quite hot! 🥵
Yes, Australia does get hot and yes, Perth, Western Australia has seen some hotter days, and it does get like this every summer but it's still pretty uncomfortable when you are in it. Alas, the team and the dogs are lucky to have a pool, dam, sprinklers and hoses to keep them cool! And don't the dogs just love it.
Lots of time was spent in the water this week, making sure all the dogs stayed cool and comfortable. We still did activities but just did them during the earlier hours when the temp was lower.
Fun times with Lan and Kev, who have started a new segment "Kwestions with Kevy." Todays were about the trees on the property and do all the team come from WA. I am sure as this segment goes on; we will get some better answers 😂
Please send in some more questions and we will make sure to put Kev on the spot to answer them. We have started slowly as we do not want to overload Kevy Kapow but please throw some questions in the comments, they could be about anything! Kev is a wise, special, young-middle aged bloke, so I am sure he can handle any questions you might have.
As the dogs spent a lot of time in the pool, we got to see some awesome bombies but no better than Olives HUGE leap into the pool. I absolutely loved that jump by the little girl, it was so fun to watch and even better that we got it on camera. So cool seeing the dogs jump into the pool and having such a fun time.
Treasure hunt 🪙 was a little different being in the front yard, but it offers a nice cool, shady area for the pups and they still get a little dash to get them snacks, as Brit would say.
Lots of fun with the big ball action, so many dogs are getting involved and loving that activity, which is just amazing to see.
We had some short motorbike rides early in the days, as to make sure no dogs got overheated. Some short runs on the bikes, finishing up at the dam is always a hit with the dogs.
