Jak and Daxter | A Character Study

When designing Jak, the character was given a multicultural appearance so as to broaden his appeal to many age groups and cultures. In this video, we dive into what inspired Jak and Daxter and how Naughty Dog developed Jak's character over the coarse of the games. Following the success of the Crash Bandicoot series, Naughty Dog envisioned a new IP, a game intended to be bigger and better than what came before. Something which would captivate players for hours with its smooth integration of gameplay and story elements. The result was the Jak Trilogy.
