3 interesting things to see in Uppsala Part 2!

Описание к видео 3 interesting things to see in Uppsala Part 2!

Welcome to Part 2 of my exploration of Uppsala, Sweden. In this video, I'm going to walk you through three interesting things to see in the city: Gustavianum, an anatomical theatre; Güntherska, one of the most famous cafés in town; and The Linnaeus Garden, where botanist Carl Linnaeus lived and worked.

First up is Gustavianum—a beautiful neoclassical building that was built in 1625 and today houses the university museum (currently closed for renovation).

Next up is Güntherska—a classic café that has been around since the late 1800's. It's located right around the corner from the main square (Stora Torget), so it's easy to find. If you're looking for a place to grab coffee or tea while exploring the city center, this is definitely a good spot to check out!

Finally, we have The Linnaeus Garden—Sweden's first botanical garden and home base of Carl Linnaeus (the founder of modern taxonomy). The garden is reconstructed and maintained according to the ideas of the 18th century. An interesting place, indeed!
