Minecraft Guide to Neos - Updated 2024 Edition

Описание к видео Minecraft Guide to Neos - Updated 2024 Edition

This is an updated guide to Happyheart's guide to neos from 2016. It's a fantastic video that got many people into parkour, but it's unfortunately very outdated, hence this video.

Neos, also known as 180s or wraparounds, are some of Minecraft's hardest parkour jumps and are a staple of the hardest Minecraft parkour maps. You may have heard of the triple neo or the butterfly neo. But did you know there are way harder and more complex variations? This video covers all the basic types, variations, and mechanics of neos that you can use in everything from mastering the hardest Hypixel housings to building your own diabolically hard parkour courses. This has been my half-hearted attempt at tagging this video.

If you're confused about the shorthand I use in the names of the jumps, here's a little explanation:
b = block
m/mm = momentum (e.g. 3bm = 3 blocks of momentum)
c = ceiling (e.g. 2.5bc = 2.5 block high ceiling)
+/-# = going up/down # blocks
l = landing (e.g. 1bl = 1 block landing space)
And now you know that the name of the parkour player 1bmm literally means "one block of momentum". The more you know.
