Today I left the coast and explored the beautiful inland area of the Algarve — more specifically, the charming village of Alte, known for its natural springs and calm river spots. I visited both Fonte Pequena and Fonte Grande, two peaceful freshwater areas that still feel untouched and pleasantly non-commercial.

Flying my drone through the trees and over the water was an absolute joy — it’s always refreshing to be surrounded by nature like this.

To finish the day, we captured something special: a giant Portuguese flag painted on a hillside near Alte.
This patriotic mural was created by locals to support the national football team and has become a unique symbol of pride for the village. Recently repainted, it proudly waves (in color) over the landscape — a true connection between nature and community spirit.
