Just a quick video showing how I replaced the front struts on a 2018 Honda Pilot. This will be the same process and method for many other years and models of Honda & Acura. I picked up the KYB Replacement Struts from my local O'reilly and they are working great and the ride is like new again. I know I said it multiple times in the video, but if you're not comfortable with taking the springs off, just use some good quality quick struts.

The Torque Specs I found online:
48 ft lbs for the Upper Strut shaft Nut
55 ft lbs for the 3 Upper Strut Flange Nuts
58 ft lbs for the lower pinch bolt
58 ft lbs for the sway bar end link nut
44 ft lbs for the tie rod end nut (install new cotter pin)
58-65 ft lbs for the lower ball joint castle nut (install new cotter pin)
101 ft lbs for the Larger Caliper Bracket Bolts
242 ft lbs for the axle nut


Tools needed:
Small Prybars
10 mm Socket and/or wrench
12 mm Socket and/or wrench
17 mm Socket and/or wrench
19 mm Socket and/or wrench
17 mm & 19 mm Box End wrenches
6mm allen or hex key for sway bar end link and/or strut nut
1/2 Inch Impact wrench or breaker bar
3/8 Inch Impact wrench or long ratchet or breaker bar
JIS - 3 Impact Screwdriver
Small Sledgehammer
If you prefer, you can use a pickle fork or a ball joint and tie rod separator tool
Torque Wrenches
