It has been 33 years since I went to Poznan to take part in Wieniawski Competition. For all this time the videos from the Competition were stocked on VHS tapes in my Moscow flat. Now it's been converted to digital for which I am grateful to Georgy Degen from Moscow Central Music school and Vadim Kiranov in Minsk who helped to improve the sound quality of these old evidences of my violin playing at the age of 18...
Here is an excerpt of the 2d round of the Wieniawski Copmetition in 1986. My faithful partner Natalia Batasheva on piano.
