🌊 Step 1: Offshore Extraction
Huge oil rigs drill into the seabed and bring crude oil to the surface. This raw material is thick, dark, and not usable yet.

🚢 Step 2: Transport
From rigs, crude oil travels by pipelines or massive oil tankers across oceans to onshore refineries.

🏭 Step 3: Refining
At refineries, crude oil is heated in distillation towers. Different boiling points separate the crude into usable fuels and products:
• Petrol (gasoline)
• Diesel
• Jet fuel
• Kerosene
• LPG (cooking gas)

🛣️ Step 4: By-products
But fuel isn’t the only product. Crude oil also creates plastics, asphalt for roads, lubricants, and even chemicals used in medicines and cosmetics.
