அஸ்வினுடைய வார்த்தைகளால் மாப்பிள்ளை மனம் திருந்தி பிரச்சனையை சரி செய்கிறார். மாப்பிள்ளையின் மனமாற்றத்திற்கு காரணம் அஸ்வின் தான் என்று ஸ்ருதி தெரிந்து கொள்கிறாள். ஸ்ருதி தனது அம்மாவிடம் தான் அஸ்வினுடன் மகிழ்ச்சியாக இருப்பதாக பொய் கூறுகிறாள்.
