Freedom Arms 454 Casull

We test the Freedom Arms .454 Casull using several handloads. We worked up full power and reduced loads for this cartridge. The revolver also came with a .45 Colt and .45 ACP cylinder. Please Note: Upon further testing and conversations with Freedom Arms it is not recommended that Lil’ Gun powder is used in revolvers. The use of Lil’ Gun powder causes the throat to erode much more rapidly. We believe this is because of the higher Nitro content of this powder which causes the powder to burn hotter and increase and compound throat erosion. H110 and W-296 would make good substitute powders check your load data for proper charge weights.
