The Origins of Ask A Winemaker

Ask a Winemaker started back in 2006 when Damien Ca
sten worked harvest in Sonoma at the Scherrer Winery and simply couldn't write fast enough to capture the information Fred Scherrer was sharing. He started filming on a flip camera and produced some really ugly early videos, including a series with Master of Wine Olivier Humbrecht. Sean Berringer, a professional video editor with decades of experience saw the videos and offered to help, instantly and dramatically improving the channel's quality.
