Aircraft Design Workshop: Structural Simulation in Aircraft Design

SimScale and the American Institute of Astronautics and Aeronautics joined forces to offer this workshop about the application of engineering simulation in unmanned aircraft design. Viewers will receive a hands-on, interactive introduction to the fundamentals of engineering simulation and will learn from top simulation experts how to leverage the free, cloud-based SimScale platform to test their own aerospace designs.

During the second session, we introduce you to structural simulation and how it can be used to test wing strength. You will analyze a wing under different loading conditions to gain a better understanding of the structural response.
