How to make a Mitre Jig for a Shooting Board [Woodworking Jig] (Cut mitres)

I make a lot of boxes but have never been able to make one with mitre joints due to using hand tools only, various other jigs and methods haven't worked. So I decided to try and make a mitre jig for my shooting board to solve my problem.

This is a pretty simple build which requires some accuracy to get it to work properly but will be worth it in the end. To be honest I have found it to work rather well but it is still far from giving me the "perfect" mitres which I desire.
