DIMPLES D Sucker DJ Extended

Going back further than my usual 40 years or 50 years ago; posting pop culture gems, I have here gone back to 1991 and an Australian #1 hit which so effectively sampled the 'I Dream Of Jeannie' theme music. Dimples D first recorded 'Sucker DJ' in 1983 but it was Ben Liebrand who remixed the track and created the 'Genie Mix' which was issued as both a 7 and 12 inch single in 1990. Here in Oz, it entered the charts in March of 1991 and rose to the top spot. New Zealand took it to #2 whilst the remix went to #17 in England and better in other centres of Europe - but 'Sucker DJ' made Crystal Smith aka Dimples D, a one hit wonder, but what a hit. So enjoyable and here I have re-edited the promotional clip with the extended mix.
