Recently Jay Duerr, President and CEO of LMC Workholding, stopped by the Haas Factory to get his hands dirty and talk about the chuck rebuild process. Jay worked with Haas' Orville Collins to show the steps of disassembly, inspection, and reassembly. Performing these steps every 6 to 12 months will ensure your chuck operates smoothly and doesn't lose gripping force due to stiction and contamination.
