After I finished my work for the day and my son spent his day in the Kindergarten, I miss him terribly and we need a few moments just like this to spend our time together. Doing the things he likes, eating our favourite food, and listening to each other about how our day went. I hope the title is not misleading, since this is pretty much how a date looks like for me: having relaxing quality time with our loved ones 🤗

Before the pandemic, I used to take him after school to buy groceries, to get some delicious Apfeltaschen and Süßgeback, or just to have a simple picnic on the playground before we go home.
Now, considering the situation, we have to make do with what has been given. We have to be able to find joy in every little thing, and be grateful for everything that we have now 😄
Being a homebody like us, a simple journey walking home and enjoying homemade food in a quiet afternoon bring us so much joy, so much love, and such happiness.
