This journey was sparked by an inspiring 30-day challenge I stumbled upon on YouTube, which ignited my passion for pen and ink artistry.

In my initial videos, I experimented with an old ink that I had treasured for years. It boasted a distinctive style, but I found it lent a somewhat plastic look to my pieces, and it dried too quickly on my favorite pen. However, once I made the switch to a new ink from Dr. Ph Martin, the transformation in my artwork was nothing short of remarkable. You'll witness firsthand the vivid depth and richness that this change has introduced to my creations.

As I embark on this journey, I’ve explored a variety of pen tips, and I've discovered a few favorites that have truly enhanced my drawing experience. You might notice that I frequently switch tips throughout the series, as each brings its own unique flair to my work.

My aim through this exploration is to capture the enchanting beauty of the buildings around my hometown, showcasing their charm and character through my drawings.
