This is the HDPE 80 Mil Liner being installed at the Beachwalk Crystal Lagoon by Comanco Environmental in September 2017. The installation and welding took about 30 working days ( 1.5 months). Interesting to note that the installation took place during the end of the hottest season, the liner wrinkles in the video are a result of the liner expanding during the day light hours. Liner installation in Florida should be when the season is cooling. The filling of the liner should take place when there is a 15 degree temperature change from 2 hours before sunset to 2 hours after sunset to allow the liner to expand and contract. The liner in the video is just prior to the Crystal Lagoon "Fill Authorization Letter". It has been cleaned and inspected including as-built drawings, sub-grade compaction reports and inspection on file. The Liner Installation Company with the Liner Warranty Application complete the warranty application and installation certificate submitted for the Certified Warranty to be given to the Lagoon Owner.
