2 years ago around the time looking at Mana Magic% I also looked at this, but, it was the original version, which has a different skip based on the overworld map transitions, and I wasn't able to finish a run at all. I had no idea GBC was different until stumbling the other day serendipitously on a tutorial, spending a couple of days getting used to Dethl, and boom. I had intended to grind this a bit further but Big 20 is on and I want to run that, so the improvement slop here from shopkeeper and missing Moldorm stunlock can wait.
