Makita DPJ180Z Biscuit Jointer | Track Rail Adaptor | First Test

Tested out the new Makita DPJ180Z Biscuit Jointer joining boards and the alignment was perfect

Next was to use it on a corner joint where I would normally have run a rebate with the Makita DRT50Z Router. Always a nervous moment when you working on your project for real.

This adaptor plate from @adaptools is super quick to install, just as quick to uninstall and then reinstall thanks to the nifty little fixings that fit permanently inside the housing.

Drop the jointer onto the Makita track and line up the red cut line marker on the jointer to the line you want your biscuits on.

Easy as that …
