This island was home to prominent families over the years with a beautiful historic resort on the Island and a waterfront golf course. Don't miss the state park, 2 lighthouses and a dog-friendly beach! Next we'll check out Anastasia Island Florida which is on the Atlantic coast near the historic town of St. Augustine. This is one of our favorite weekend trips to take in Florida. If you want something super exclusive and romantic, then visit Little Palm Island Resort in the Florida Keys! This is actually a completely private island that's only accessible by boat. This is a luxury experience for adults-only! After that we'll explore Amelia Island Florida which is in the northeast of the state near the Georgia border on the Atlantic Coast. This is a golfers paradise and be sure to explore the beach town of Fernandina Beach! Lastly, we'll head to one of the most remote national parks in the US - the Dry Tortugas off the coast of Key West. Only accessible by boat or sea plane, this is an amazing ecotourism spot with gorgeous beaches, snorkeling, scuba diving and you can explore Fort Jefferson.
