Aston Martin V8 - The Quintessential Gentleman's Express | Tyrrell's Classic Workshop

Welcome back to Tyrrell's Classic Workshop! This episode brings us an exquisite 1988 Aston Martin V8 Coupe, a remarkable blend of luxury and performance. While it bears similarities to the Aston Martin DBS V8 supercar, which we featured last year, this Aston Martin V8 stands out for being both unrestored and in concours condition.

Having covered 68,000 miles, this Aston's engine remains pristine, as Iain demonstrates. He also delves into the Weber Marelli fuel injection system, which was also used in the Ford Sierra RS Cosworth and Ferrari F40, and talks about the Chrysler Torqueflite automatic transmission. Despite not being a Vantage or a DBS, this "common or garden" V8 remains special, as Iain illustrates with the luxuriously appointed interior swathed in the finest Connolly Leather.
