Gaza tower block collapses after Israeli airstrike

Israeli aistrikes demolished a tower block building in Gaza City which housed the offices of top Hamas officials.

Witnesses said Israeli drones fired a series of warning shots at the roof to give people time to exit the building before it was destroyed.

Palestinian militants Hamas said on Wednesday that they had fired more than 200 rockets into Israel, in retaliation for strikes on a tower block in the Israeli-blockaded enclave of Gaza, which they control.
