To elaborate a bit, it all depends on the bike.

Every situation is different, for some bikes it can be dangerous to run an aftermarket exhaust without a tune but for the MT07, you can get away with doing it in my opinion.

As of writing this, I have been riding with it for a few weeks and am already a huge fan of the smoother engine braking. I am finding it almost impossible to get any "pops" on decel though.

As for MPGs, I'm getting about 40-45 but the current tank I'm on seems to be doing a bit better.

The difference isn't night and day by any means, but it does smooth out the ride. Do your own research and decide for yourself.
