Disney's Hercules: Action Game 100% LC All Letters & Vases Medium Speedrun in

I'm surprised that this challenging category can go as low as sub 43 or even sub 42 considering what is left to be optimized in The Big Olive and Cyclops.

I wanted to optimize this personal category to see if a sub 50 minutes run was easy or not to achieve. It turned out that I overestimated the difficulty. Getting all the collectables isn't that hard once muscle memory is built. However, that's another story when it is about routing the category to its full potential. Indeed, the optimal route will include very risky early Death Abuses in Cyclops, and running very fast in Gauntlet and Passageways. That will significantly increase the chances of missing something. Thus, the nerves would kill a lot of attempts. Moreover, there are a lot more RNG in this category, especially for Hydra. Missing the Bird Glitch is also very annoying since it happens about 17 minutes into the run.

About this run:
My goal was achieving sub 46 after I achieved sub 50 with a surprising 46:09 PB. Here I did many small mistakes from bad execution, and two big time losses:
- 15s in The Big Olive because I failed plateforming to pick the first letter E.
- 35s in Passageways because I missed 2 coins leading to a non-mandatory Death Abuse.
- About 30s from bad RNG in Hydra, Medusa and Hades.

So I believe that a 43:XX run is fairly achievable, and 42:XX too if I include fast Death Abuse strats in Cyclops. If this category is ever seriously taken in consideration for the community, I'll consider pushing it to this point.
