In late 1967, after some 14 years in the desert, the aircraft were sold and repairable, suprisingly after what they had been through. . After extensive repairs, one aircraft flew out to Cooper Pedy SA and then onto Adelaide. The others were trucked out to Adelaide and all were shipped to the USA/
