Hey folks, the family and I decided to visit the Angel Oak Tree near Charleston, SC more specifically on John's Island. Though a bit of a drive and with not many attractions nearby, one could be concerned in this trip would be worth it, but if you are a nature lover and appreciate the peace and calmness it provides, then this place is a must-visit. To see something so big and spanning so wide is simply a sight for sore eyes. Surrounded by the little chirping of birds, to the sound of footsteps on leaves, this place really transports you. Kids have enough space to run around after getting fascinated by the tree and its history, there are picnic tables for you to grab some food with family and friends, and you can paint and just pass time with nature and its beauty. If you are near the Charleston area enjoying its various beaches, then definitely make a quick drive to John's island and visit the historic centuries-old Angel Oak Tree.
