2016 Mini Convertible Cooper S Review - Inside Lane

This is the all-new 2016 Mini Convertible and it aims to be the most desirable Mini model yet. At the cars launch we tested this 2016 Mini Cooper S Convertible which also happened to be the Open 150 special edition. Powered by a 2.0 litre turbocharged engine it produces 190 BHP and 280 Nm of torque. 0-62 MPH take just 7.1 seconds when opted with the automatic gearbox.

Select sport and the pops and band from its exhaust are sure to raise a smile. Lower the fabric roof of this new convertible to let the sunshine and and get the wind in your hair.

Despite removing the roof the new 2016 Mini Convertible retains plenty of structural rigidity. Accurate steering and loads of grip means that this Cooper S is fun to drive.
