New York City, NY : Sameer's Eats

Salaams Folks! Ride with me on a typical Saturday night in my beautiful city of New York. New York City offers a diverse food scene highlighting ethnic foods especially when you're searching for Halal Food!

We visit an Uzbeki Restaurant for some authentic dishes. A fun fact, my mom's side of the ancestral family hails from Bukhara which is one of the largest cities in Uzbekistan. Since my parents have visited that part of central Asia and have raved of it's rich history, I figured dining at Farida will be as close as I get to Uzbekistan!

We then make an attempt to grab Kashmiri Chai which is a block away at Kashmir 9 but unfortunately I was a couple minutes late! It used to be open 24/7 Pre-Covid but now they close at 11PM. We head over to Rice to Riches which is a staple for flavored rice pudding. We then end the night with a couple of piping hot slices of Joe's Pizza!
