Durian The King of Fruits

The name durian is derived from the Malay languages word for duri or spike. There is over 30 Durio species, at least 9 are edible, and over 300 named varieties in Thailand. Durian has a musky gas smell and a sweet garlic flavor. The odor has led to the fruit's banishment from hotels and public transportation in Southeast Asia.

I've heard durian called The King of Fruits, The Tigers Fruit and smelly fruit along with a few more colorful descriptions.
