Final Visit to Tinsley Railway Yard (Sheffield) on 30th June 1992
Continuing with my archive of video recording between the years of 1986 to 2001 this clip is of Tinsley railway Yard taken on 30/06/1992. My final visit to this dying yard rich in history, one of the biggest yards in the UK in it's heyday. The decline in traffic is very noticeable around this period and so sad to say farewell to this favourite location. Many a happy hour has been spent here by so many so I hope the video takes you back to this period with fond memories.
