Super easy baby hat with measurements for all sizes by Crochet for Baby Beginner Friendly patterns

How to crochet a basic and easy baby hat for 0-3m with measurements for all sizes from newborn size up to an adult crochet pattern by Crochet for Baby.
There are two options to easily make the baby beanie hat smaller or bigger. The first option is to simply change your hook size and make it exactly like this tutorial with same yarn weight and same number of stitches and rows. The second option is by using standard hat size measurements provided in the tutorial and below. With this option you can make your hat using any yarn weight and any hook size.

NB USE A 4.5MM HOOK WITH #4, ARAN OR 10-PLY YARN
0-3M USE A 5MM HOOK WITH #4, ARAN OR 10-PLY YARN
3-6M USE A 5.5MM HOOK WITH #4, ARAN OR 10-PLY YARN
6-12M USE A 6MM HOOK WITH #4, ARAN OR 10-PLY YARN
12-24M USE A 6.6MM HOOK WITH #4, ARAN OR 10-PLY YARN

1). Width of crown:
Preemie: 3"-3.5" (7.5cm – 9cm)
Newborn to 3mon: 4”-4.5” (10cm – 11.5cm)
3 to 6m: 5" (12.5cm)
6 to 12m: 5.25" (13.5cm)
12 to 24m: 5.5"-6" (14cm – 15.25)
Toddler: 6" (15.25cm)
Child: 6.5" (16.5cm)
Teen/Small Adult: 6.5"-7" (16.5cm – 18cm)
medium Adult: 7"-7.25" (18cm – 18.5cm)
Large Adult: 7.5" (19cm)
XL Adult: 8" (20.25cm)

2). Total Length:
Preemie: 4" (10cm)
Newborn to 3m: 5"-5.5" (12.5cm – 14cm)
3 to 6m: 6” (15cm)
6 to 12m: 6.25" (16cm)
12 to 24m: 6.5"-7" (16cm – 17.5cm)
Toddler: 7"-7.5" (17.5cm – 19cm)
Child: 7.5"-8" (19cm – 20cm)
Teen/Small Adult: 8" (20cm)
Medium Adult: 8.5"(21.5cm)
Large Adult: 8.5”- 9” (21.5cm – 23cm)
XL Adult: 9"-9.5" (23cm – 24cm)

NOTE: To make this baby hat in any other size, you will start with the width of crown measurement and continue to increase the top of the hat until you have the crown measurement. After this, continue with the second measurement which is the total length. You will begin this with a row of FP/BP DC then continue with the following pattern for the body of the hat, make 2 rows of DC and 1 row of FP/BP DC. Repaet these 3 rows until you have one to two inches left from total height depending how wide you want your brim. For the brim you will make two rows of FP/BP HDC which is the same for all sizes.
