Monster Hunter: Rise - Hunting "Kushala Daora"

"Kushala Daora" are Elder Dragons introduced in Monster Hunter 2. It is a dragon with metallic skin, large wings that connect at the base of its tail, and backward-curving horns on either side of its head. Visible wind streams around its body, and it has a slightly reddish nose, possibly due to rusting.

It can manipulate wind to fire blasts of compressed air, create massive tornadoes, and cause violent storms. When enraged, it generates a wind barrier that deflects attacks not aimed at its head or tail and blows back hunters, making them vulnerable. However, the barrier weakens if Kushala Daora is poisoned or has its horn broken. Depending on the terrain, its storms may inflict ailments such as freezing winds in icy regions. It also has a limited ability to produce the Dragon element, which enhances its physical blows.

Although it will shed its skin when rusted, some Rusted Kushala Daora may not have shed recently. This Elder Dragon is naturally passive and will only attack when provoked.
