Deep Hack at Seattlecloud
This is going to be extremely troubling for some:
I have been talking with another member “G” about his ongoing battles with advertising id. He told me he had first noticed the pollfish fraud several months ago in august. English not being his first language he could not comfortable explain his issue so I will try to explain for him.
He had an app on google play that has a few million downloads. I say had, although the app still exists on google play but he no longer has control of it, nor receives any of the $300usd/day it have previously been generating for him.
It occurred in november when he noticed his usual 50k impressions per day had dropped to a mere 1k, and the apps revenue dropped from $300 plus per day to a few dollars.
G had experienced this same brand of hacking in august and several times since then so G quickly examined his xml file and discovered the same parasite hack syphoning off all his impressions
He edited his xml file, removed the parasite ids and replaced them back with his own. minutes later.. the had been change back again. This happened a couple times before all seemed well in the xml but for some reason impressions had not returned to normal.
There is no record of this, but what he ended up finding was the hacker had hide the parasite id inside the apps css file instead. G fought back and removed the ids again.
What happens next will be disturbing for anyone who has ever had a popular app. The video attached to this message shows the hacker move from an act of fraud to and act of theft.
The original app name of the app was livemap1448. Usually you can access your apps xml by using the app name in the editor url. The video shows G using the app name to do this. Instead of landing on the xml page in the editor he is redirected to a mysterious duplicate app named livemapl448. Thats with an “l” not a “1”.
G then opens the source code inspector and reveals the hacker has added a script to the editor that performs this task:

This script must be added at an administrative level within seattlecloud in my opinion. This in effect has handcuffed G. There is nothing left for him to do since he is unable to even access what limited coding control he has. And because again, english is not his first language, he has been unable to get control of his app back which has likely generate a huge sum of money since it was stolen.

We need to work together and create evidence and start a fire under seattleclouds ass. Keep a close eye on your xml files and be suspicious of things that don’t make sense.
We have one simple request that Seattlecloud will be unable to refuse..
STOP THE AUTO SYNCONIZATION.. remove the feature completely until the hacking is sorted out. If there is no auto sync, there is no possible way for them to update you app with hacked ids


Trying to bring this to Seattleclouds attention in the forums and they ignore my posts and ban me. So if i can not get Seattleclouds attention on their forum perhaps now Seattlecloud will pay attention with they want to be serious about being an app building program
