This video will help to know about the Tiger Hill, before coming to the Darjeeling Tiger hill you should know about it for hassle free tour.

1. Altitude : It is the top most hill of the Darjeeling town, it is about 8482 ft.

2. Sunrise point: It is famous for sunrise.

3. Distance: It is approx 11- 13 KM away from the main town or it takes 40-45 min to reach there.

4. Views: Kanchenjunga, Mt. Everest are visible form there, border of Bhutan, Sikkim, China are also visible.

5. Sinchel Temple: It is also famous for Sinchel Devi, many tourists visit this place for worship.

6. Visiting Time: For the Sunrise you have leave by 4 AM because sunrises between 5 - 5:30 AM.

7. Best Month: Feb - Mar is a best time to visit Tiger Hill due to the Gurash ( Rododendron ) and Chaap ( Local tree), during this season its flowers will decorates the hills.

8. Permit or Tokan: You are not allow to go there without a permit issued by a traffic police which is open till 6 PM.

9. Forest Department Charges: You have to pay Rs. 50 per head to the forest department.

10. Couple Place: It is also best places for the couples, many couples often go there for dry picnic.
