The resentful physician, upon reaching Persia, fueled by the bitterness of forced labor miles away from his family, orchestrates revenge. Advising Campuses to ask Pharaoh for his favorite daughter as a gift, the doctor aims to settle a personal score. Unwilling to send his beloved daughter merely as a concubine, yet wanting to avoid offending the Persian Empire, Pharaoh Amasus opts for a clever tactic. He sends the daughter of the former Pharaoh, claiming her as his own.


Caught in the midst of this diplomatic ruse, the former Egyptian princess, just as displeased as the doctor, reveals the deception upon meeting Campuses. Enraged by the insult, the Persian king invades Egypt, resulting in the defeat of Pharaoh Amasus.
