Thanks for celebrating our wedding on June 25, 2016 by helping sponsor a refugee family!

Weddings are a celebration of beginnings, a public ceremony where two souls stand together looking with hope towards a bright future. They require planning, a shade of risk, and a lot of help from a giving community. In the midst of planning our wedding, we felt unjustified in creating a big celebration without attention being given to the things we care most about. We had been planning on sponsoring a refugee family as soon as possible after our wedding, but felt like there was more we could do. With the refugee crisis sitting at the front of our attention we decided that, rather than create a registry for our wedding, we would create a fund that our guests could contribute to. This fund will kick-start our ambitions to bring a refugee family to Canada, as soon as possible. We sincerely hope you would carefully consider joining us in this cause.
