For this video, I got the idea to flip through a magazine while holding it in my hands. I thought the pages would rustle more softly and pleasantly as I played with them in the air, compared to when they’re resting on a table. And when it comes to water-damaged paper, the whisper-like sound becomes even richer and more intense. Sometimes, I feel like I could compare it to the purring of a cat...
There are two versions of this video—one without background sounds and another with the binaural crackling of a wood wick candle.
