Personal Embodiment Journey with Tamalpa UK

Описание к видео Personal Embodiment Journey with Tamalpa UK

Receiving the Ale Moraš Scholarship Fund at Tamalpa UK was undoubtedly the right decision for me, particularly as a Black woman. As a dance artist, teacher, and licensed Occupational Therapy (OT) Assistant.

I began this program working full-time for the NHS and was midway through my training to become an HCPC registered Occupational Therapist. My desire to blend my OT practice with my dance practice by merging health science and well-being was on fire more than ever.

The scholarship has been pivotal in my journey, allowing me to be curious around the possibilities of blending my artistic and clinical skills and address the lack of access to culturally creative activities for well-being, particularly in lower socio-economic areas and global majority groups.
