Daniel Bekerman
Daniel Bekerman is a Toronto-based producer who recently produced Bruce McDonald's Baby, How'd We Ever Get This Way, starring Maxwell McCabe-Lokos and August Diehl, Naomi Jaye's The Pin, a WWII-set love story, and co-produced Nathan Morlando's award-winning Edwin Boyd, starring Scott Speedman. His line producing credits include Red Lights with Robert De Niro and The Whistleblower with Rachel Weisz.
His projects in development include Bang Bang Baby, a musical directed by Cannes Residency alumni Jeffrey St. Jules, Beyond Apollo, a sci-fi starring Bill Pullman and Ali Larter, and The Witch, a co-production with New York-based Parts and Labour.

Daniel Cockburn
Daniel Cockburn's first feature You Are Here won top prize at the European Media Art Festival (Osnabrück) 2011, for "trend-setting work in media art". It was called "a major discovery" by the director of the Locarno Film Festival, and has been compared to the work of Charlie Kaufman, Jorge Luis Borges, and Philip K. Dick. It screened at over 40 major festivals, including Toronto, Locarno, and Rotterdam, and won the Toronto Film Critics Association's "Jay Scott Prize" for Emerging Talent.
Cockburn has made over 25 short films and videos, which have screened at festivals and galleries worldwide. In 2009, the exhibition group Pleasure Dome presented an international tour of a retrospective of his short works, and he was a resident of the DAAD's Berliner Künstlerprogramm filmmaker residency. In 2011-2012 he was Guest Professor (2011-2012) at HBK Hochschule für Bildende Künste (Braunschweig Art University). A publication about his work is forthcoming from the Canadian Film Institute. He currently divides his time between Toronto and New York.
