Weekly Vlog # 309: A family weekend | Pack with me

Hi everyone
welcome back to another slice of my weekly waffling, I hope you've
all had a good week. If its your first time stopping by the channel, thank you

A shorter vlog this week because as this video is uploading, I'll be winging my way back from Spain. Hopefully I've had a great time and I'll tell you all about it next week. But, for now, this video is all about what I got up to before I left.
So, we start the week off with the arrival of Lawrence's cousin Marie and her hubby Daniel. They are South African but living in Belgium, being so close to the Netherlands it was nice to have them over for the weekend. The weather finally turned into summer so Saturday we went to Utrecht to treat them to some tasty South African goodies then showed them the sights. We wrapped up a lovely day with a dinner at our local Indian restaurant. Sunday was a scorcher and the plan of taking them out on the boat couldn't have been timed better! Its the first time they've been on the
water with us and they really enjoyed it. All in all, a great weekened.
I still had a few days to work but I did that from home which I'm not sure was a great idea because its been scorching here. I'm not complaining but my little messy craftroom sure felt like an oven. Anyway, it was great to wrap up some last minute stuff so I can start my holiday stress-free.
