The American Disabilities Act is a law requiring that special accommodations be made in buildings for people with disabilities. Also know as ADA, this law requires that plumbing fixtures such as toilets, urinals, sinks and drinking fountains be installed in such a way that makes them accessible to people in wheel chairs.

In this video, Plumber-Tom explains some of the most common ADA requirements that apply to plumbing fixture installation. This does not include all of the ADA regulations that apply to plumbing, but covers the ones that a plumber will see most often and should know.
