Brigadier Jagdeep Dhaiya – A distinguished Army officer who served with honour for 36 years in the Indian Army. He held diverse staff, instructional, PR, and command roles, including command of an Air Defence Brigade and three tenures in Punjab. A former Indian Army spokesperson at the Ministry of Defence, he built a strong media network and influenced public communication effectively. As faculty at the College of Defence Management, he taught Financial Management, Operational Research, and Research Methodology. In his last appointment, he led recruitment of nearly 20,000 troops from Punjab and Ladakh. He also participated in foreign weapon system evaluations in Israel, contributing to India’s defence procurement with integrity and expertise.
