How to Transfer Shopify Domain to Wix

To transfer your Shopify domain to Wix, you must first prepare it for release from your Shopify admin. Log in to Shopify, navigate to 'Settings' and then 'Domains.' Select the domain you want to transfer, and click on the 'Transfer out to another provider' option. This action will unlock your domain and provide you with an essential authorization code (EPP code), which you need to copy. Next, log into your Wix account, go to the 'Domains' page, and select the option to 'Transfer a domain you already own.' Enter your domain name and follow the prompts, pasting the authorization code from Shopify when requested. You will then need to pay for the transfer, which usually includes a one-year domain extension. After completing the payment and confirming the transfer via email, the process can take up to seven days to fully complete and become active in your Wix account.
